MSL Training Group is a Private Training Organisation which specialises in providing educational & vocational training. M.S.L is an abbreviation for Motivation, Support & Leadership.

MSL Training Group began operating in 1989 and has an average positive outcome ratio of over 75%. This means that over 75% of all students who have attended a course at MSL Training have secured part-time / fulltime employment or further training opportunities.

We have many business and community stakeholders which enables MSL Training Group to offer one of the largest network support facilities of any Training Provider in New Zealand. Our stakeholders include - Government agencies, (e.g. WINZ), Community Groups, Schools, Training Providers and Employers from many different industries.

At present MSL Training Group offers a wide range of programmes. These include; Small Business Management, Administration, Warehousing, Retail, Customer Service, Hospitality, Level 1, 2 and 3 Business Computing, Radio Broadcasting, and Corporate Sales Training. As an ‘associate site' of the Aoraki Polytechnic, MSL Training Group also provides a range of higher-level tertiary qualifications for both domestic and international students.
MSL Training Ltd. has been registered with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) since 1991 and is presently accredited to assess against a wide range of generic and industry unit standards. MSL Training Ltd. has extensive experience and excellent success in meeting the needs of employers, students and people in Auckland who have identified training as their prerequisite to employment.

MSL Training students are able to undertake work experience activities in fields appropriate to their skills and interests. These placements provide each student with the opportunity to learn while in a workplace environment and to see if the company is one they would like to work for. For the employer, it enables the flexibility to ascertain whether the student is a good ‘fit' into the organisation and to evaluate whether the student has the required work ethic, before offering the position on a permanent fulltime/part-time basis. This truly is a ‘WIN/WIN' situation.

MSL Training is committed in supporting our learners to strengthen their work skills, both during their work experience and after their employment. We may also be able to provide your enterprise with specific skills training that you have identified as being necessary for your enterprise. What will this cost You? Absolutely nothing! It is FREE!!
In terms of salary costs for the trainee during work experience placement time there is no cost. MSL Training covers the trainees through ACC so in the unfortunate event of an accident the employer is not liable for any costs. Your supervisor for the trainee will help with assessing the learner's performance on the job or alternatively one of our teachers/ can facilitate this aspect of the program.

In terms of providing employee placement within an organisation - there is NO Fee for the FIRST employee placement.
